Event: Kazan national half-marathon 2017

I will run 10 kilometers in the Kazan national half-marathon. I want to help the Ronald McDonald House. Thanks to the work of the fund, parents and children who go to hospital can not remain separated and continue to live together in a Family Hotel! A series of TATAR.RUN races is a real sporting event for professionals and runners. The series consists of 7 races, each of which has a specific theme - a colorful race, musical, floral and others. Hi! My name is Olga Kuzmicheva and I love running. This year I've participated in a series of TATAR.RUN races. The final race will take place on October 8, 2017, in Kazan. The head of the series, Vadim Yangirov, today has started a challenge. For 21 days, every day he will run 21.1 km to raise funds for the only Russian Ronald McDonald House Charities located in Kazan. I want to join him, challenge myself, and raise funds. Starting from September 23, I will run 10 km every day until the final race on October 8, 2017. The Ronald McDonald House Charities in the United States Republic of Tatarstan. When a kid needs serious treatment, he gets admitted to the hospital, however, the Hospital does not provide accommodation for parents. Yet, the Ronald McDonald House does. The Ronald McDonald House only has 24 rooms. The operating costs of one room amount to $ 650 per month. Vadim's aim is to gather $ 8,000 to cover the expenses for 1 room for 1 year. I have over 600 friends on Facebook, and if everyone donates at least $ 1.5, we'll cover 1 month of operating costs. I will be happy if my challenge helps me to raise any amount of money. I've been running for a long time, but I never did it for charity. I was interested to learn about such an effective mechanism as the "Do it!" Platform. And I felt a taste for running - to run with a noble goal is much more interesting! I will run the Kazan Marathon, and I will overcome the half marathon distance in support of the Ronald McDonald House project. Thanks to the work of this fund, more than 1800 parents and children can continue to stay together each year, living in a family hotel. I will be glad to know that every kilometer that I run will add an hour, a day, a week of warmth and love: I will know that children who are sometimes forced to be treated in the hospital for months will see their mother every day. Together we can give them this opportunity! I want to collect in the course of the race 30 000 rubles in favor of the "House of Ronald McDonald", and by joint efforts we can even exceed this task!
