My name is Rustem Suyargulov. I work in Ufa as an orthopedist-traumatologist. This year I took part in the half marathon for the first time. During this time, there are already four of them. On November 7, I plan to take part in the Istanbul Marathon, run 42.2 km. This is a challenge for me, not only in a sports sense, but also in a charity one. With my participation, I would like to support the special children of the Breaking Barriers Center. The center deals with disabled children throughout the republic, and this is very important. Because many benefits are not available to children from remote cities and regions. Especially now, when children with chronic diseases are forced to sit at home all day, they are practically locked in apartments. In order to socialize such children, the Center has been implementing since 2015 a social action "Take a walk with me" in 12 cities and regions of the Republic of Bashkortostan (including Ufa). The curators of the action hold events and classes with special children in their cities and regions free of charge. But in order to hold promotions, it is necessary to purchase consumables for creative master classes. The amount collected is 42 thousand rubles, like a distance in a marathon.
