The Special Childrens Charity Fund has been helping for many years in those situations where it is simply impossible not to help. This is my story - I always try to help children who need our help, and it doesn’t matter if a lot of help is needed or not - it is never small or insignificant. In charity, every step is important and every action aimed at a healthy and happy future for our children. Meet - this is Sofia. She is 10 months old (10/11/2018). She was born with a weight of 610 grams at 26 of 40 weeks. She spent the first six months of her life in a hospital in Yekaterinburg, where her mother was sent while pregnant. The first two months, Sofia was connected to mechanical ventilation and underwent two operations to install a shunt. Diagnoses: hydrocephalus, leukomalacia. Convulsive syndrome. Spastic tetraparesis. Delay in psychomotor development. Bronchopulmonary dysplasia. Retinopathy Sofia has already undergone two treatment courses at the habilitation center at the “Special Children” charity foundation. There are positive changes: she holds her head, there is support on the handles. In order for the development process to continue, she needs another course of habilitation. Let's take a step towards children's happiness and a healthy future.

I want to support the Special Children Fund. The foundation organizes assistance to young children with serious illnesses that lead to developmental delays. The main activities of the fund: assistance in organizing treatment and habilitation of children at risk, children with disabilities, assistance to specialized clinics, advanced training of doctors and informational work with parents aimed at timely detection of developmental delay in children and prevention of disability.
